Welcome to the
Stratford Band!
The case for music education has never been stronger. Research shows that studying music strengthens spatial reasoning, boosts test performance, and enhances overall quality of life. Add to that the social skills, emotional growth, leadership development, teamwork, aesthetic awareness, and discipline that come from being in a band program, and it's easy to see why students thrive here. Our ultimate goal: a lifelong appreciation for quality music and music-making.
The Stratford Band Program serves over 200 students across seven ensembles: the Marching Knights, Color Guard, Large Jazz Band, Festival Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, Stratford Concert Band, and the nationally recognized Stratford Wind Orchestra.
Recent achievements:
2024: Stratford Wind Orchestra selected as a featured performer at the USC Honor Band Clinic
